Venice Beach Quietude Sept. 18, 2011
It's an interesting community;Venice. Odd, mixes well with the normal especially in the areas around the canals. This place is filled with painting potential.
This scene looked like a painting done by Monet or Renoir! (I'm sure both artists used Photographs as reference).
The Venice canal zone is a peaceful place, surrounded by urban calamity; kind of like the Shire in Lord of the Rings, neighboring the hoards of Mordor .
Being near water calms the mind, but never mind.

South Park Fat Ass (Eric) Venice CA September 17, 2011
Venice is like the twilight zone; walking in the areas around the canals I found I was being watched. Then I spied this animated doll eyeballing me as I passed on by.
I kept to myself, and didn't make eye contact with him as I didn't want to provoke a confrontation. Who knows what would have happened.

Santa Barbara Mission Demo Sept. 12, 2011
Every Painting is a Work in Progress. Nature isn't always cooperative, and some times it is in need of an adjustment or two. That's where I come in; to tweak a branch, enhance, eliminate, delineate a subject. It's all to fit my aesthetic...(what ever that may be).
