Papa Duke
Ellis Eringer, the late father of Robert Eringer, lived in Monaco. One of his gifts was to paint portraits, from memory, of Padre Pio. His paintings of Padre Pio were sought by collectors world wide, because they had healing powers.
Up on "The Rock" in Monaco is the Cathedral of Monaco. A special alcove is dedicated to Padre Pio, and Ellis' Painting is the center piece. One day while I was in Monaco I entered Ellis' studio where he was busy painting one of his portraits. He agreed to allow me to capture his portrait while at work on his painting.
