THE LOVE SHACK

THE AMERICAN HOTEL

One never knows what they will find in the thick of an Arts District, no matter what city they're in. The hearts are all over this building; the, "American Hotel",  are stylish decor for Earthquake retrofitting. To me the hearts represent LOVE!!  Regardless of the Valentine Invitations, I don't think I'll be staying there anytime soon.

  1. Love Shack

    Two couples
    one grounded, branched in wisdom
    the other
    ego centered, unbalanced
    one partner uncovered
    the other seeking reinforced air
    Two couples
    framed in love
    one green
    the other missing and blue
    Two couples
    awake and sleeping
    brick upon brick
the wolf hasn't blow it down

  2. The American Hotel

    Unlocked
    crooked on the plum
    exposed nerves, lines and
    a heart outlet
unplugged, like once upon a time

    dimension studies puzzled symbols
    in a logo-slambook, Title:
    Stone-Hinge America
    $
    an american pursuit
    protected by
    striping green pipes
like a soldiers with a stiff jaw for
    renewal, when
    the invasion
    of a sidetrack/beautiful
    covergirl's curve
    gives away the secret spot
    of the
    up above the leaders
    left
    right
    crying gold tears
    blind
    with addictions

    painting over the need
    to color
    over, truth
    confused

    Welcome me umbrella
    porch blue
    allow me to see
    and expose a clear color
    in your open window
    allow me to see
    where secrets
    rest
    just looking
    in your treasure chest

  3. Zeitgeist decryption.
    Decipher encryption.
    Scoot with the scat.
    Laying it out flat.
    Mindlessly chat.
    Chewing the fat.
    Wanting to be.
    Free, see?
    Upside
    Down,
    Up
    Side
    Right
    Piercing
    Glazing gilded
    Open letter box
    Full of socks, no mail!
    Not today; pure dismay. O.K.
    Life's not symmetrical anyway.
    So get on with it.
    Git into it,
    Or over it!

    Now, Git!
